Ramadan Mubarak & Lemon Lime Drizzle Cake

lemon lime drizzle loaf cake recipe | Halal Home Cooking
Ramadan Mubarak to all my Muslim readers & hello to you all,

Here is the recipe I followed for the above lemon lime drizzle cake which I'm slowly salivating for as Iftar (meal that breaks the fast) is approaching, of course before that will come dates and shorba/soup.

This cake is perfect for Ramadan as it stores well for 3-5days at room temperature in an air tight container, perfect for small slice portions after Iftar inshAllah(God willing)

** please note I used only 3tbsp lemon/lime juice to make the glaze on top of the cake, the original recipe calls for 4tbsp also I used a 10cm(width) by 30cm(length) loaf tin so the bake time was reduced to 40minutes.
